Antioch, IL—January 30, 2013— “It only takes a dollar to win,” said Patrick Keating after winning $133,333 with a $1 Lucky Day Lotto Quick Pick ticket.  The Antioch resident matched all five numbers – 01 – 24 – 30 – 34 – 38 – in the January 26 drawing.  Keating watched Channel 9 News to get the winning Lucky Day Lotto numbers.  “I couldn’t believe it when they matched the numbers on my ticket!”  The next morning he called the Illinois Lottery Player Hotline (1-800-252-1775) to verify the numbers.

Keating, a retired painter, has lived in Lake County all his life and in Antioch for the past 16 years.  His plans for the winnings include sharing with his son, investing, and possibly treating himself to a new big-screen television.  “I consider myself to be a lucky person, especially now that I won the Lottery.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Max and Boyd’s Hideout, 25344 West Richmond Avenue in Antioch.  “It’s my local bar and they have great food.  I usually buy a lottery ticket when I’m there,” he said.

Jackpots for Lucky Day Lotto start at $100,000. Drawings are seven days a week with over 35,000 winners every day. That’s over 200,000 winners in Illinois every week! The Lucky Day Lotto drawing takes place every night at 9:22 p.m. For more information, please visit www.illinoislottery.com.
